This week saw the appearence of an ever-so-minor case of pre-eclampsia. So, these last few days of anticipated movie dates and long walks have been taken over by bedrest interjected with daily visits to Labor and Delivery for fetal non-stress tests and bloodwork. The future king or queen of our little domain has remained unmoved by this diagnosis--an ultrasound revealed a very happy baby with skinny Matt legs. Mom is likewise feeling terrific, despite what her blood says, and is having long talks with baby about how awesome the outside world is. Dad is packing and re-packing the labor bag and offering lots of chocolate.
