Gus Can:
Sit unassisted for very short periods and "tripod" for longer
Roll as a form of locomotion (so roll over, and over, and over . . .)
Scoot a bit on his belly then get really mad because he can't, really
Push himself up in a full arm-extended push up
Make many, many different kinds of noises
Blow bubbles with his own drool
Explore objects more expertly with his hands
"Ask" by grunt,grunt,grunting and reaching
Sip from a cup (the sippy cup is a mystery, but a good teething toy)
Laugh like a maniac, but only if you're really funny
Swim (well, he did take lessons, and he can hold his breath underwater)

Gus loves:
Nursing
Books--reading them and eating them
Blocks
Flat Orange Bunny (a strange teething cloth doll)
Music
Tummy kissing
Going to the store
Tostada Night at Al and Kelly's
Chewing on his spoon (no solids yet, but the tools are cool)
Sitting at the dinner table, laughing at mom and dad do this crazy eating thing
Playing Superman
Going to the beach

Gus does not love:
TEETHING (and no teeth yet)
Snot sucker
Being hungry
Having anything put over his head
Carseat

Rainy and cold Labor Day weekend at the beach

Fascinating new thing
