Seriously just posting this because it's a good look at all of his new hair

Perfect Day

Saturday, Gus spent a day with Dad, hitting storytime at the library and getting new books, then on to the science museum for the space shuttle simulator, dinosaurs, and the live frog exhibit (the second time he has seen it this week, it's making a big impression). Early in the evening, Mama joined her boys for dinner at Gus' favorite restaurant, a traditional deli in our neighborhood.

Valentine--Mama and Baby Bird

This is a Gus original sculpture from clay that he tells us is "Mama and Baby bird." The smaller piece comes off of the larger piece's "back." Happy Valentine's Day!

22 months (last week)!

You can tell in the first picture he didn't want me to take his picture, as what he thinks he's doing is using his horse as a picture shield against the paparazzi. In the second one, he asked me to, provided I also make his portrait with Stegosaurus (dinosaur obsession? Check).

We had big bad storms this week--feet of snow inches of ice. The Ohio State University actually closed, which NEVER happens and lots of roads did, too. This picture is pre-storm, though Gus has become accustomed to snow and cold at this point, unfortunately.
