It's true. They're wearing sweaters in the middle of June. Here on the North Olympic Coast it's been cold and rainy. I just ordered baby sunglasses for Gus because even when it's overcast he squints and fusses at the searing outdoor light. I'm told all Pacific Northwest babies are this way--just like how they will grow up able to swim in the 45 degree oceans, will constantly have mud on the hems of their jeans, and will never, ever, use an umbrella.
