Deli

Our neighborhood has a traditional deli--which is Gus' favorite place to eat. He is quickly becoming the owner's favorite customer, as Gus will fearlessly and enthusiastically eat anything--sour dills, smoked fish, stinky cheeses, complex salads, whole tomatoes, sliced onions, garlic on and in anything. I think his favorite part, though, is the sights and smells and all the interesting people that pass this this urban intersection.

oh, I hope this happens to us someday before this child goes to college :-)

(today's entire menu - milk, a banana, and a few potato/lentil curls from Trader Joe's.)

Just like he walked right about when you assumed he would never bother and is now crawling to the tops of your furniture, soon you will have to order food specifically for him at restaurants because picking off of your plate won't be enough for that growing boy! Start previewing the best kids' menus now!

I think Christopher and Gus might be made from like molds. Our little man loves tart and sour...and the more tart it is, the more he wants it. He'll try to eat whole lemons and limes. Although, Christopher isn't fond of cold cheese...has to be melted or he's not having it. Good for Gus...its great that he's a fearless eater
